Seaweek

This week is Seaweek and Room1 have been learning about caring for plants and animals that live in the ocean environment.
Today we walked down to the beach with PE hoops and magnifying glasses. We put the hoops down on the sand at the high tide line and then the low tide line and looked carefully at what we could see inside the circle. We found lots of different kids of plastic, as well as the stones, shells, driftwood and seaweed. We will all make sure we don't drop plastic at the beach as birds and fish may think that it is food and try to eat it!
