Room 1 wish everyone a safe and happy Term 3 holiday.

Remember to leave your slippers at home and bring your sunhat to school on the first day of term 4!

Term 3

We have enjoyed a fantastic Term 3 in Room1! 
Everyone has worked hard to be the best that they can be!
Thank you to Aimee Hartstonge, our fabulous teacher trainee for the past seven weeks! 
The class decorated a card with special messages for her on her last day today.
Our teacher aide Liz has become a special part of Room1 and has helped us all with our learning too! 
We have also been lucky to have Max's grandad Graham to help with reading and spelling.
Thank you Graham! You are an awesome spelling tester!

Thank you as well to Samara's mum Frances for helping us with our artwork this term.

Congratulations to our certificate winners this week- Sophie, Clem, Max and Zara.

We have a new award in Room 1 which we will continue next term - Best Table Group of the week!

2014 Calendars

Room1 have been busy creating wonderful crayon and dye family portraits for the calendars, diaries and cards that you can order for 2014.
We hope you like them!

Making Fridge Magnets

In technology we have been making fridge magnets. The criteria is that our magnet must be able to hold up Macklyn's Reading Rocket on the whiteboard!
Here we are holding our magnets and then testing them!
