Room 1 2018: 2009

Room 1 have all been working hard at writing events in the order they happened. We know you will enjoy reading these!

In the holidays I went to a very cool crocodile farm. First I got on a big boat. It was awesome! Next I wanted to hold a crocodile. It was very fun. The crocodile felt bumpy and squishy.
The next day we drove to the Great Barrier Reef. We went on a big boat. When I got there I got off and I did some swimming. It was super! We went back on the boat. On the boat I got sea sick but I still felt happy.

I got a new home.
I love my new house. It is cool as!

I went in the car to the plane park. We flew over the sea. Then we arrived with the car at Germany. We found a motel at Germany. We played rugby. I was player of the day. Then we got in the plane. Then we flew over the sea to New Zealand.

I went under my home and we played there. It was sort of dark. My brother and sister played with me. It was good fun.

We went to Auckland and we left at night in the car. Dad said “Go to sleep”. But I couldn’t go to sleep and in the morning we were in Taupo. We had breakfast at McDonalds. I have cherrios for breakfast. It was yummy and after breakfast we went back in the car on the way to Nana’s. We left Taupo and soon we were in Auckland. We saw my Nana. We went to Ice Age 3. We had 3D glasses. Then we picked up Cooper. He played with Luke and me. We played Transformers and then we went to drop off Cooper. Then we went back to my Nana’s and watched a DVD after we had lunch.
Then we went to go fishing. I caught a snapper. It was massive! We ate it for dinner. I was full!

We went to my Uncle John’s and we went to the pool and the park and we came back on Friday. My Dad and Mum took us to the park on Friday. Mum and Dad are good.
Then we went back to the park. We biked there and back and then we came home.
Tessa and Tyler came to the park too.

We went to Ohakune. We went on the chair lift and then we skiied down. We went on the chair lift again. I went all by myself. I was very frightened! We had morning tea then we did more skiing. Then I went on another chair lift. The next day we went skiing again and we went on the chair lift again and again. Then I skiied on the pommer. I went on the pommer 20 times, then we went home. I love skiing!

On my holiday I went to Blenheim. We stayed there for four nights. We went on the boat. We saw some glow worms. We slept on the bunk bed, then we went back home. It was fantastic! I felt happy. The best part was going on the boat.

I went to go skiing and then we unpacked our stuff and had dinner. After that we went to bed. Then I woke up. We went in the car to go skiing. I went on the black run. It was hard! Then we went back to the hotel and I took off my skiing gear. Then I went to a shop. We looked in the shop but we didn’t buy anything. Soon we went back home and then I watched TV and had dinner.

I went to the movies. We watched Ice Age 3. In the movie there was a dinosaur. I like the movies. You had to wear 3D glasses. The best part was when the dinosaur came. I went home in the car. I was happy! I like the movies!

I went to the circus with Jack and Myles and my Mum and my Dad. We went in the car to the circus and we saw an ilama and an elephant. We saw a donkey and then we went in the circus.
It was five minutes till it was showtime! Then the show started! The lights went off and on. These girls did back flips and cartwheels and then did forward flips. This boy flew with this girl and then they came back down and these boys did limbo under fire. These boys jumped through fire. This boy was really strong and I felt fantastic and amazed!
