Keeping Ourselves Safe

We are  learning to be safe in the sun so we can avoid damaging our skin with sunburn.
We found out that invisible rays of ultra violet light from the sun are the ones that damage our skin.
To find out when these invisible UV rays are hitting our skin we made and put on bead bracelets that change colour when UV light shines on them.
In the classroom or when covered up the beads are white.

When we went outside into the sun the beads turned  colour! 
We could see when we need to keep safe from the sun!
