On Friday Room 1 visited the Electrotechnology Department and other labs of interest at WelTec in Petone. We were invited by Joe's mum Caryn. The tutors organised a special programme for us with lots of exciting activities about the topics we have been studying at school - Magnetism, Sound and Electricity. Room 1 think that WelTec could be a good place to learn more about electricity and engineering when they are older! We thank Mel, Trevor, Guy and John at WelTec for providing such a wonderful learning experience and answering all our questions!

It was a great trip, thanks to Joe's Mum Caryn for organising it. I thought you were all really well-behaved and you represented Muritai school really well too. The movie was interesting and I could hear your voice Sarah.
