Teddy Bear Picnic

We had a Teddy Bear Picnic today as a treat for filling our Room1 "good talking"
 jar.
We all introduced our teddies or soft toys at Circle time and talked about what made them special.
During teddy bear maths we practised our basic facts with our class set of plastic teddies and we read lots of teddy stories and sang teddy songs.
After lunch we set out the picnic blankets and shared a lovely picnic feast of teddy fairy bread, tiny teddy biscuits, hot sausage rolls, and lots of fruit and other treats.YUM YUM YUM. Dan the caretaker came in too and told us about his favourite Care Bear.
Mrs Ryan's teddy Shackleton Bear had a puppet show and gave every teddy a certificate for being so special.
Thank you so much to all you wonderful supportive parents who helped in so many ways- sending food, picnic rugs and making sure the teddies came to school on the right day!
