Our Science inquiry last term involved magnets. This term in our inquiry we are using magnets as part of a technology investigation.
We are exploring ways we can use magnets and will design our own fridge magnets using different materials. The fridge magnet we make must meet a set of criteria - especially the one that says it must be strong enough to hold our reading or spelling rockets onto our fridge at home.
Making magnetic fishing games gave us the opportunity to experiment with the strength of magnets. We enjoyed sharing them with our big buddies.
