Today we could come to school dressed as a book character in exchange for a coin donation as it is International Literacy week. We are raising money to buy books for a school in Nepal. It was also Calvin's last day as his family are moving back to South Carolina. His mum Sherry brought some cupcakes to share and everyone got treats his grandparents brought from America. Thank you Calvin, we loved having you in Room 1 and we will miss you!

Ms. Ryan, your class has done so many things this term. It is fun to read your blog and see how your class is doing. Calvin talks about you and his friends in New Zealand all the time. He is enjoying the first grade here in South Carolina but misses you and his great friends in NZ. Sure hope you have a great holiday and enjoy your time off.
