The dancers showed us how they practise their steps and answered our questions about what it is like to be a dancer. They danced two dances from The Nutcracker and two modern dances as well. We learned some ballet steps and tried them out. Room 1 favourites were The dance of the Flower Fairies and the Lady GaGa dance.

You were so lucky to have the Royal NZ Ballet visit your school. Lovely photos. I especially liked the one where the children from Room 1 are trying 'First Position'.
