Skipping

We are all practicing our skipping skills for Jump Rope for Heart in September. Go Room 1 - you are getting better and better every day!

Room1 have been busy creating wonderful crayon and dye family portraits for the calendars,diaries and cards that you can order for 2015.

Junior Assembly Week 6

Congratulations to our junior assembly certificate winners.
In 2 weeks it will be our turn to be the hosts so we will invite our mums and dads!

Visiting Kindy

I am working with the East Harbour Kindergarten teachers on a Transition to School project so Room1 are lucky to visit kindy every few weeks at the moment. We have lots of fun getting to know the children who will be starting school soon and we always take something from school to show. This week Una showed a picture she drew a picture and Madia made a woodwork model. We showed our Superstar Book.

Kapa Haka

Yesterday we were invited to watch the Artsplash Kapahaka
 group practice in the hall.
It was fantastic and everyone loved it!

Christian's first day of school

Christian started school in Room1 today. He likes reading, playing in the trees with his brother and using the ipads. Welcome to Room1 Christian - you are very clever at pointing to the words in your reading book and jumping and rolling at moveMprove!

At the Disco!
