Louie's First Day

Today we welcomed Louie to Room1. He brought  nanna and grandad to see his new classroom and big sister Sophia came too!

Nelly's First Day

Nelly started school today in Room 1 and she brought her twin sisters to see her new classroom.
 She had a special German 'school bag' present to show for her news and her mum Anya baked some delicious chocolate treats for us all!

Jacob's First Day

Today we were so lucky to have 2 super new students in Room1! Jacob brought mum and dad to school and showed us that he is a super jump jam dancer already!

Sotheycan

Roko's mum Cass showed us a slideshow about her not for profit organisation sotheycan, which works with villages in Kenya to help them rise above poverty and become more self sufficient. Cass took Roko's big sister Mia to Kenya to see what she has been doing there. 
Cass has set up a school and a children's home for orphans in Kenya. We saw photos of the classrooms and the children's bedrooms and we talked about how lucky we are to live here in Eastbourne!

Week 6 Assembly
