Caleb's First Day

Caleb's mum Hannah went to Muritai School when she was 5 too!

Caleb had a wonderful first day at school today!
He was nice and early and very well organised!

Caleb's Grandma is our school librarian so she came to hear his news. The rest of the class call her Sue or Mrs Fieldes.

Super Letterland handwriting! You are so clever at remembering to sit up straight on your chair as that is tricky when you start school!

The Brain!

This week we are learning amazing facts about our brains.
Today Mr Saker told us how our brain is like a computer that we have to programme by ourselves.
We learned that our brains have billions of neurons that send messages to the different parts of our bodies. Our buddy class teacher Mrs Chao made Nigel the Neuron to help us all learn about it.

While we were learning about letter K we made butterfly kites!
We were so excited when it stopped raining and we could go outside to fly them!

Max's First Day

Clem's First Day

Facts Room 1 know about about the Earth!

Room 1 learned all about the Earth during our Planetarium visit on Tuesday. When we painted our Earth models everyone could remember, share and talk about something special about the Earth.
