Welcome to Joe

Joe joined us in Room 1 today. He enjoyed finding objects the same size as his gingerbread man at maths time and playing on the junior playground with his new friends. After lunch he met our buddy class, Room 11. He loves to read and is very clever at drawing people. Well done Joe!

Mathematical Measurements!

Room 1 are very busy measuring objects in our classroom at present!
We are learning the importance of starting from a baseline in these photos.

Buddy Art

Room 1 love working with our buddies! We worked with mixed media this week, making t shirt pictures with magazine collage of our favourite foods on the front. This artwork ties in with our science inquiry "food changes"

Harriet's First Day

Room 1 made a great start to Term 3 today, with everyone working hard to be the best that they can be. Harriet had her first day at school and enjoyed balancing at PMP, letterland, visiting the library, handwriting, eating lunch with her friend Lucy and pointing to the words in her reading book. Clever girl Harriet!

Ready for Term 3

I am so proud of all of you for the fantastic work you did with Mrs Mills-Smith last term!

We are Little Teapots

Look how clever we are performing "I'm a little Teapot "for our buddies.  

Soccer Skills

On Thursday Room 1 and 2 worked with their buddies in Room 11 to improve their soccer skills. They focused on passing the ball with the side of their foot and stopping it. Being able to control the ball is a very important skill to have in soccer.

Way to go Room 1, you were great !

We know how to make an o'clock time with our little clocks. Can you guess what time we have on our clocks?
It was very special to have our visitors with us today and they could make an o'clock time too. Aren't they clever?

Room 1 have been learning to listen and copy a beat with their happy sticks. Look how much fun they had.
